PETERBOROUGH SINGERS
Peterborough Singers
The Peterborough Singers are a group of people who enjoy coming together
once a week, on Wednesday evenings at the Senior Citizens Hall to make
music together. Our music team is led by Peter Hopkins, conductor, Margie
Symonds, pianist and Lesley Kulow, clarinet.
Mayor Ruth Whittle leads the group and is our main communicator.
We perform for concerts, community events and lead the music for Anzac
Day and Remembrance Day services.
Our repertoire ranges from Christmas Carols and Hymns to Musical Theatre
and old favourites. We include movie theme songs and popular hits.
We welcome new members. There is no audition. An annual membership
fee of $60 covers costs. The only personal requirement is a love of singing in
the company of great people of all ages.
Please contact Peter Hopkins on 0411 537 884 if you would like more
information.
